Lyons Gaddis Welcomes Stacey Shea to the Real Estate, Land Use & Zoning Team

LONGMONT, Colo. — Lyons Gaddis is pleased to welcome Stacey Shea to its Real Estate, Land Use & Zoning practice group as Of Counsel.

Stacey brings a wide-ranging legal career to her real estate and business transactions practice, most recently serving as Director of Advanced Planning, where she worked with clients and financial advisors across multiple states on estate, and wealth transfer strategies. Prior to that, she spent six years as an attorney in Greeley and Loveland, representing individuals, families, and companies in real estate, land use, and business transactions, including 1031 exchanges, commercial leasing, and business succession planning.

Earlier in her career, Stacey served as General Counsel and Personal Administrator for a private family office, practiced immigration law with a focus on benefits for victims of crimes and DACA recipients, and worked as a policy research contractor focused on information sharing between intelligence agencies. She earned her LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University and her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School. Before beginning her legal career, Stacey served two tours with the U.S. Army Reserves in Afghanistan and Iraq as a Civil Affairs Sergeant and is a Bronze Star recipient.

Outside the office, Stacey is married with one son and a full household of pets, including two dogs, two cats, a ball python, and a tank of isopods. She’s an avid runner, the further the better, and loves hiking and camping with her family.
