Lyons Gaddis Welcomes Attorneys Rachel Amspoker and Christopher Hooyman

Lyons Gaddis is pleased to announce the addition of Rachel Amspoker and Christopher Hooyman to our team. Both bring a passion for supporting Colorado’s communities, along with fresh perspectives and deep expertise that strengthen our firm’s ongoing commitment to serving our clients across the state.

Rachel Amspoker joins Lyons Gaddis as an associate attorney in the local government, school district, and special district practice groups. She brings years of experience advising school boards and superintendents across Colorado. Before joining our team, Rachel served as Senior Legal Counsel at the Colorado Association of School Boards (CASB), where she became a trusted resource for governance, employment, and policy matters. Known for her practical approach and steady guidance, Rachel has a talent for helping clients navigate challenges with confidence and clarity.

Christopher Hooyman, joining as an associate attorney at Lyons Gaddis supporting the firm’s civil litigation and family law practice groups, brings a unique combination of classroom and courtroom experience. A former Denver Public Schools teacher, Christopher earned his J.D. at the University of Colorado Law School. He has worked with the Donnell-Kay Foundation, Denver Public Schools Office of General Counsel, and the Transformative Justice Project of Colorado, where he helped advance educational access and equity initiatives. His background as both an educator and legal advocate provides him with a valuable perspective on problem-solving and client advocacy.

“Rachel and Christopher both bring a deep respect for the people and communities they serve,” said Cameron Grant, Lyons Gaddis shareholder. “Their insight and experience enhance our firm’s ability to help clients navigate complex legal challenges with clarity, creativity, and confidence.”
