Lyons Gaddis Welcomes Abigail Frische to the Water Law Team

LONGMONT, Colo. — Lyons Gaddis is pleased to welcome Abigail Frische to its Water Law practice group.

Abigail joins the firm after earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she received a full-tuition Sturm Law Scholarship and completed a Certificate of Specialization in Environmental Law and Natural Resource Law and Policy. She earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Anthropology and History from Southern Methodist University.

During law school, Abigail served as a student attorney with the University of Denver Environmental Law Clinic, where she filed statements of opposition and appeared in Water Court on matters involving disputed water use, quantity, and due diligence. She also served on the University of Denver Water Law Review, progressing from Staff Editor to Senior Staff Editor, and worked as a research assistant on projects involving environmental preemption and municipal turf rebate programs.

Most recently, Abigail worked as a law clerk supporting the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division through a contractor role with Amentum, where she served as primary law clerk on federal reserved water rights litigation. Her earlier legal experience includes a summer internship with Marathon Petroleum Corporation and a summer internship with the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.

Outside the office, Abigail is an avid reader of both fiction and nonfiction, enjoys crochet, and likes to unwind with strategy-based video games.
