With more than 50 years of legal experience, John’s practice has encompassed civil litigation, business, real estate, family law, personal injury, and estate planning and probate. Across these areas, his approach has centered on understanding each client’s goals and developing a strategy to help achieve them.
John’s work has reflected the changing needs of Boulder County. He has advised on farm and ranch transactions and major developments, helped businesses through mergers and acquisitions, and guided longtime clients through estate matters and family transitions. His career offers a reminder of how closely the practice of law is connected to the lives of the people and communities it serves.
His commitment to the community has also included helping establish and advising local nonprofit organizations. That service reflects the values Lyons Gaddis continues to uphold: trust, respect, community, and excellence.
As we celebrate John’s retirement, we are grateful for his contributions to our firm and for the care he has brought to his work. We also celebrate the person behind the practice: a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and a runner who has completed the “Big Six” marathonsm and a traveler who has visited virtually all of the Hillman 100 sites.
On behalf of everyone at Lyons Gaddis, thank you, John. We wish you and your family happiness in retirement and look forward to celebrating all that comes next.
