I was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. My family has long roots in Santa Fe.   My father and grandfather were born there too.   Now I live in Erie, with my husband, our two kids and a big yellow lab.  I met my husband in Durango where we attended Fort Lewis College.  Then I went to law school at CU Boulder.

I have practiced law in Longmont for 20 years, primarily in the areas of estate planning and probate.   I joined Lyons Gaddis on January 1, 2019. I enjoy spending time with my family. I can be found walking around my neighborhood while my daughter tags along on her scooter.  I also like to be part of my son’s robotics.   His robotics team this year (the Nerd Herd) hopes to repeat what they the last 2 years, which is to qualify for the VEX World championship in Louisville, Kentucky.  They already qualified for the state finals, so that’s step 1!

Denise Poepping moved from a small town in Illinois to Denver in 2001, and has lived in Longmont with her husband, Matt, since 2003.  She has worked with Jennifer Spitz since 2006, and has been a legal assistant for five years.  She enjoys spending time with friends, going to shows, hiking, reading, writing and playing video games.  She loves animals, and has a cat named Ada who is spoiled rotten.

I was born and raised in Colorado.  I am the youngest of three siblings (two sisters).  I live in Loveland with my husband, Michael, and our two cats, Octavian and Maximus.  My husband and I consider ourselves foodies and we enjoy trying new restaurants, and we also enjoy wine and going to wine tastings.  In my spare time, I like to read, go hiking, listen to music, exercise and watch movies.  I am a big Lord of the Rings nerd, and proud of it! J  My dream is to go to New Zealand and visit all the sets from the movies.  I haven’t traveled too much in the U.S., but I have been to Germany several times, as my mother is from Germany.  I understand more German than I can speak, but I try to practice whenever I can.  I am a big animal lover and one of my favorite things to do is bunny yoga!

Jessica Wagner has worked with Jennifer Spitz since 2016 and has been a legal assistant for twenty-six years. She has three children and lives with her husband Ron, three dogs and a cat in Firestone. Her horse Radar lives nearby. She enjoys spending quiet time with Ron (after many years on the competitive sports circuit with her children) and Radar and dabbles in photography.
