COMMUNITY - Lyons Gaddis supports a diverse group of organizations within our community

The Boulder Shelter's mission is "To provide safe shelter, food, support services, and an avenue to self-sufficiency for homeless adults in our community," and the firm recently made a financial donation in support of the organization's mission.

The historic Longmont Cemetery was vandalized and in his volunteer capacity on the Board of Directors, Anton Dworak assisted the Longmont Cemetery Association with related inquiries. The cemetery is being repaired.

The Firm sponsored a hole in the Longmont Ford Charity Golf Classic, an annual event benefitting the OUR Center. All proceeds go to fund the OUR Center's programs and services to help move people toward self-sufficiency.

For the third consecutive year, employees of our firm participated in the Komen Denver Race for the Cure. The race is an annual event which raises awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Research. Team participants included employees, friends, and family members.

A half-day volunteer project which our employees have been participating in for three consecutive years involves planning, purchasing, preparing, and serving a meal at the OUR Center's facility in Longmont. The non-profit's mission is to aid individuals and families in need of food, resources and to develop vital life-long skills to enable self-sufficiency. The team is eagerly looking forward to continuing the tradition in the future.

The Fairview Friends Foundation, whose mission is to reach out to families and individuals in need, and to provide assistance, lift spirits, and create an extended network of support and friendship during times of hardship and challenge, held its 11th Annual Golf Tournament at Colorado National Golf Course in Erie. Steve Jeffers volunteered at the event, which included golfers of all levels who enjoyed a great day of golf and camaraderie.

Our employees will be participating in the Community Food Share drive this year, which has become an annual tradition at the firm. This will be the firm's sixth consecutive year of participation; and our employees are honored to be able to make a small difference in our community.

The Firm is a diamond sponsor for A Woman's Work, a community non-profit providing support for women in the St. Vrain Valley whose immediate financial needs cannot be met by other sources. A Woman's Work was founded by a group of local women serving the community in a unique and important way, offering financial assistance for rent, medical issues, auto repair, childcare and more.

The Firm recently made a donation to the Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado, which provides free civil legal assistance to low-income Coloradoans who are facing serious civil legal problems.
