Rachel Amspoker

Overview

Rachel Amspoker is an associate attorney at Lyons Gaddis whose practice focuses on representing local governments, school districts, and special districts across Colorado. With extensive experience advising public entities on governance, employment, and policy matters, Rachel brings a thoughtful, solutions-driven approach to complex legal challenges.

Before joining Lyons Gaddis, Rachel served as Senior Legal Counsel for the Colorado Association of School Boards (CASB). In that role, she provided legal guidance to school boards and administrators statewide, developed model policies, and led professional development initiatives on a wide range of legal issues affecting public entities. Her prior experience also includes representing clients in domestic relations matters and supporting public institutions through her work with the University of Colorado’s Office of University Counsel.

Rachel’s diverse background in both public and private practice gives her a unique perspective on the legal and operational needs of local government clients. She is known for her practical advice, collaborative style, and commitment to helping communities operate effectively and lawfully.
